The search box in Windows 10 is situated on the Taskbar to provide you with easy access to search, but it takes up a lot of space that could be used to pin other apps.
However, Windows 10 has the ability to disable or reduce the size of the search box if you would like to do so or remove it entirely from the Taskbar.
You can easily remove the Windows 10 search box from the Taskbar by following the instructions in this guide.
Disable search box from Taskbar on Windows 10
Follow these procedures to get rid of Windows 10’s Taskbar search box:
In Windows 10, right-click the Taskbar.
Choose the Search option.
To turn off the Taskbar search, choose the Hidden option.
(Optional) To turn off the Bing Chat AI button and Bing content when the search experience opens, clear the Show search highlights option.
The search box will no longer be visible in the Taskbar when you finish the steps, allowing you to pin more apps. Nevertheless, you can always open the experience by visiting the Start menu and pressing the inquiry or by using the Windows key + Skeyboard shortcut.
You can use the Show search box option from the Search menu if you wish to undo the modifications.
