- Bing gets new AI features for search results.
- These features include new cards and stories.
- Bing Chat also received various updates.
Microsoft offers a number of changes to Bing search results, including Knowledge Cards 2.0 and AI-powered Stories. Additionally, a number of repairs and enhancements are made to the chatbot experience.
The company claims that Bing AI is now used to generate the information on the knowledge cards. These are the cards with information, timelines based on images, polls, activities, and related subjects that show up on the right side of the Bing search results page.
Additionally, stories that use AI to ingest small quantities of material (text, photos, video, and audio) related to a certain topic are now displayed on search results pages. English, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, and Arabic are among the languages in which this feature is accessible.
A few problems with the Bing Chat experience have been fixed by the firm. For instance, on iOS devices, copying conversation content from the mobile app is significantly simpler. The Bing mobile apps now have better voice detection, which prevents messages from being sent before you’ve finished speaking. The update also resolves a problem where, when you scroll up, Bing search searches will unintentionally start a chat with the same query.
Both Bing.com and the Bing mobile app now offer the changes.
