Enable Audio Enhancements on Windows 11
Use these procedures to activate and set up Windows 11’s Audio Enhancements:
OpenSettings on Windows 11.
Select “System.”
Select the Sound tab.
Click the All sound devices setting under the Advanced section.
Choose the Speakers setting from the Output devices section.
Choose the Device Default Effects option in the Audio Enhancements setting under the Output settings section.
Reopen the Soundpage.
Click the More sound options option in the Advanced section.
Click the Properties button after choosing the output device.
Press the Enhancementstab button.
Choose which Windows 11 audio features to enable:

Bass Boost:
Boosts the lowest frequencies that the speakers can play. -
Virtual Surround:
Encodes surround audio for transfer as stereo output to receivers with a Matrix decoder. -
Room Correction:
Compensates for room and speaker characteristics. -
Loudness Equalization:
Uses an understanding of human hearing to reduce perceived volume differences.
Press the “Apply” button.
Press the “OK” button.
The adjustments will be applied to improve the audio experience on your Windows 11 machine when you finish the procedures.
Disable Audio Enhancements on Windows 11
Follow these procedures to turn off Windows 11’s Audio Enhancements settings:
Open the settings.
Select “System.”
Select the Sound tab.
Click the All sound devices setting under the Advanced section.
Choose the Speakers setting from the Output devices section.
Choose the Off option in the Audio Enhancements setting under the Output settings section.
Following the procedures, Windows 11’s audio improvements settings will be turned off.
Another way to turn off the enhancements is to go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound, choose the output device, click the Properties button, open the Enhancement Studio, and check the box next to “Disable all enhancements.”
