In Windows 11, if you have trouble hearing your computer’s sounds, you can turn on mono audio. To assist you hear everything coming from the computer, the capability enables the system to transform stereo sound into a single channel.
The option is now accessible through the Sound settings page, although the capability is not new; it was there in Windows 10.

Select “System.”
Select the Sound tab.
Turn on the Mono audio toggle switch under the Output section.
The system will combine the left and right audio channels to produce mono sound after you finish the instructions.
Disable mono audio on Windows 11
Follow these instructions to disable mono audio in Windows 11:
Open the settings.
Select “System.”
Select the Sound tab.
Turn off the Mono audio toggle switch located under the Output section.
The system will turn off mono audio and output the sound in two-channel stereo when you finish the instructions.
