Microsoft is integrating its Bing AI chatbot into its SwiftKey Android keyboard app. Microsoft’s CTO of mobile and commerce, Pedram Rezaei, claims that the Bing Chat experience is being integrated into the most recent beta version of the well-liked virtual keyboard for Android.
Access to search, tone, and chat is provided by the integration, which shows up as a Bing button on the left side of the command bar above the keyboard keys. As the name suggests, you can search the web using the Search option. You can input text that the chatbot will rewrite for you using the Tone option. Additionally, the Chat option allows you to use the Bing Chat AI much like you would if you were using the Bing mobile app.
You must download and install the SwiftKey keyboard app’s beta version from the Google Play Store on your Android phone in order to use the new Bing Chat connection. It may take some time for the function to show up on your smartphone, though, as it is being rolled out gradually.
When the SwiftKey app for iOS will get the same feature is unknown from Microsoft. After receiving a lot of positive response, the business swiftly restored the virtual keyboard solution to iOS, which it had previously stopped. It’s only a matter of time until Bing Chat AI appears on iPhone devices, even though the SwiftKey app doesn’t receive updates as frequently as the Android version. The company is actively promoting AI across all of its products, including Microsoft Edge, Office applications like Word, Excel, and OneNote, and business products like Microsoft Teams. Many companies have already implemented ChatGPT AI on iOS keyboards.
